The whole pull of this movie is the biopic of singer-songwriter Robbie Williams is portrayed by a CGI monkey. A simple monkey latex mask paired with a suit is enough to sea the deal.

The Brutalist

Pair it with a cross necklace and try a red beanie and roll it up so it looks a little smaller.

Sister Agnes

Isabella Rossellini plays your standard nun with a lot more bravery and sense than her male counterparts. This look is about as classic as you can go for a nun, but you could always go for a sexy nun costume look if your watch party needs to spice things up.

Dune: Part Two

Sandworm

We love the possibilities for this one. A full-body costume is essential, but we have an inventive, DIY-version that could really turn some heads: get yourself a good ol’ fashioned penis Halloween costume, and then, well…neuter the costume. Then, all you have to do is make an incision at the tip for the mouth (we realize how circumsion-y this sounds), add some fake teeth out of folded slivers of paper, and get ready for everyone to make double entendre jokes about riding you.

But the colorful film boasts a number of performances in this acting categories this year, and their styles are relatively easy to achieve. Nosferatu was a smash at the box office and did extremely well for a gothic horror movie releasing on Christmas. While it didn’t get any of the higher prized categories its other horror counterpart The Substance did, it still has received wide praise for its performances, makeup, and technical achievements. So, if you’re going for this specific Nosferatu look, the traditional Vampire Costume might only go so far. Demi Moore’s performance this year has been praised, in no small feat due to her transformation in this bonkers horror comedy. As she continues to age as her other half she creates, Sue, steals time and youth from her, she becomes not just older, but practically monstrous in a decrepit form. This sort of look will take a number of specific pieces, but if you pull it off no one will forget it. Either spring for one of our old age latex masks or go more precise with some old age SFX prosthetics, and get yourself a fake prop syringe, even better if you can drink out of them. This way, everyone can enjoy the substance!

Wicked

Nominations: 10, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Cynthia Erivo

Elphaba and Galinda are really best done together, as a couples costume or any kind of group look. One always just looks better with the other. They’re both on the poster, after all. And best od all, they’re both easy to put together. Elphaba has the classic wicked witch look, so as long as you get yourself a wicked witch costume or any kind of black dress paired with a witch hat, broomstick, and some green facepaint makeup, you’ll be all set. Galinda is a little less involved, but can have a lot more fun with accessories, with a wand and tiara bringing together the pink ensemble. If a dress is too hard to get right for the look, spring for a pink tutu and pink tights.
