The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival returned to the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City last month, with a weekend filled with bloody good thrills for horror fans. Attendees got to meet a diverse, exciting lineup of celebrity guests through panels, photo ops, signings, and meet-and-greets.
The May 2025 convention had an impressive roster of horror icons and cult favorites:
- Kane Hodder – Renowned for his portrayal of Jason Voorhees in multiple Friday the 13th films
- Felissa Rose – Best known for her role in Sleepaway Camp
- Eric Roberts – Veteran actor with a vast filmography spanning various genres
- Alex Vincent – Famous for playing Andy Barclay in the Child’s Play series
- Christine Elise – Recognized for her role in Child’s Play 2
- Eileen Dietz – Portrayed the demon in The Exorcist
- CJ Graham – Known for his role as Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives
- Douglas Tait – Appeared in various horror films, including Freddy vs. Jason
- Robert Mukes – Featured in Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses
- Darcy the Mail Girl – Co-host of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs
- Miko Hughes – Child actor from Pet Sematary and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare
- Shawn Roberts – Known for his role in the Resident Evil film series
- Melanie Kinnaman, Dick Wieand, Ron Sloan, and Bob DeSimone – Cast members from Friday the 13th: A New Beginning
- Kristi Angus and Karen Cliche – Actresses with notable roles in horror and sci-fi genres
- Alex Armbruster – Stunt performer and actor
- Jenna Warren and Gabriel Davenport – Emerging talents in the horror scene
And Abracadabra was there in the mix! We had a whole display setup full of latex masks, horror collectibles, makeup effects, and we even dressed the part too!
